ONE TAKE - Film Making Project
The One Take Project is a transformative filmmaking initiative designed to empower homeless youth and young adults through professional, industry‑standard creative training. Built in response to Australia’s growing social justice challenges—including homelessness, addiction, poverty, and the housing crisis—the project uses the power of single‑take filmmaking to build confidence, connection, and opportunity for young people who have been pushed to the margins.
Participants learn every stage of the filmmaking process, from scriptwriting and cinematography to directing, editing, sound, and production design. Through hands‑on workshops, mentorship, community storytelling, and public screenings, the program equips emerging filmmakers with the skills, support, and pathways needed to build sustainable futures. The One Take Project is more than a training program—it is a platform for self‑expression, advocacy, and social change, giving young people the tools to tell their stories and reshape the narrative around homelessness in Australia.
